• A hand-drawn color checklist
• pencil
• weather-appropriate clothing
• optional clipboard

Do this

1. Draw seven color boxes before leaving: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and one bonus color.
2. Walk a familiar, safe route and find one object for each color without collecting it.
3. Sketch or write each discovery. Try to find both a natural and human-made example of one color.
4. At home, circle the hardest color and compare everyone's favorite find.
